Fiber Optics is a technology capable of addressing two of the most difficult challenges in the communication of video, audio and data signals. These are (1) degradation of signals over long distance and (2) maintaining signal integrity in the presence of electrical noise, including lighting, EMI/RFI, voltage conductors and ground loops.
